If requested we check all holdings in the portfolio to establish:

• Validity at the date of the death
• Quantity of each holding

Our valuations include details of dividends due but unpaid at the valuation date, as well as the interest accrued on fixed-income securities and the exchange rate when necessary. All prices conform to HM Revenue and Customs requirements.

Share Data can help ensure safe administration of the holdings by:

• Lodging copies of the death certificate with all relevant registrars which prevents any unauthorised dealing in the shares
• Arranging for dividend payments to be withheld until they can be re-drawn in favour of the executors.
