In-House Certification Service
Share Data’s new In-House Certification Service is the perfect solution to complicated document certification. Our service provides document certification via digital meetings and in-person visits. You are guided through the whole process, and our in-house solicitor ensures that your documents meet all the relevant legal requirements.
Our in-house certificate service also includes US death certificates across all fifty states.
Our service is committed to making this usually complicated task seamless for you, and ensures that your document certification and US death certificate needs are met with professionalism and expertise.
Resealing Grants of Probate Service
We have launched a Resealing Grants of Probate Service. Our service offers specialised expertise to ensure an accurate and efficient resealing process. When using this service, our clients will avoid unexpected costs and delays linked to documentation errors, lack of understanding of legal requirements due to language barriers, and other possible legal complications that can arise when administering assets across borders.
When opting for our Resealing Grants of Probate Service, you will be appointed a local probate lawyer in charge of your grant of reseal. The service will include the submission of the reseal application by your appointed lawyer to the local court, the transfer of assets, the sale of shares and, where applicable, the distribution of sale proceeds and dividend.
We have a global reach but maintain local expertise. Our network of professionals ensures that clients benefit from both international expertise and local knowledge so that their needs are met.
Share data can also obtain the required Medallion Guaranteed Stamp for assets in the USA and Canada. This ensures compliance with North American regulations.
Our Resealing Grants of Probate service provides a streamlined Small Estate Indemnity procedure for English assets valued under £10,000.
Historic Share Prices Service
Share Data now offers a pay-as-you-go Historic Share Price Service. We offer all equities worldwide from 2007 onwards and the UK from 1982 onwards. Share Data also covers 170 exchanges and can search for securities by issuer name. We can provide clients with ranges going from a single security to an unlimited amount of securities.
Prices are by single historic share but we are happy to discuss discounts for clients requiring large quantities of historic shares. Quotes can also vary depending on the date-range you need.

Form 706-NA Preparation Service
Share Data is experienced in the preparation and filing of Form 706-NA and supporting documents, and will guide you through the process with our new Form 706-NA Preparation Service.
The Form 706-NA is required when selling or transferring US assets with a value exceeding $60,000 at the date of death. In order to sell or transfer these assets, one must apply for a Federal Transfer Certificate (form 5173), which is made to the US IRS by filing Form 706-NA and supporting documents.
Due to the average length of time of this process being a year, it is most important to avoid mistakes. By outsourcing the completion of this form with Share Data, we can ensure timely and correct completion of Form 706-NA’s filing.
Overseas Asset Guide
We want to take the opportunity of a newsletter to highlight our new overseas asset guide. The guide to Navigating Overseas Assets covers common questions such as the difference between estate administration and probate or the difference between an Executor and an Administrator. Other situations, such as when a probate might not be required or when there is intestacy are also explained.
The guide lays out the practical matters that require immediate attention for an effective estate administration process.
New recruits
Share Data would like to introduce our newest members of staff.
This year, Emem Isemin, our new Sales and Transfer Executive (UK Shares), and most recently Sophie, our new UK & Foreign Sales Executive, have joined our team.
Sophie has a background in customer relations and marketing management across a wide range of industry sectors and established organisations. She has had the opportunity to live and work in different countries and enjoys the challenge of being out of her comfort zone, having recently taken up gliding.
Emem is also our In-House solicitor. Emem not only works full time but she is also a mother to 3 children who keep her very busy. She is very knowledgeable and a problem solver.

“2023 has been a great year for Share Data!!
Procedures were streamlined to promote efficiency which enabled us to better serve our clients and the training needs of our team. Our departments were restructured to allow us to recruit more efficiently. A new CRM and accounting system were implemented with new services added. Our overseas network has also grown exponentially to accommodate demand on services such as Reseals, and the sale of shares held abroad by UK citizens as well as all other nationalities.
Customer Service and relationship management has been at the forefront of our restructure.
As a result, Share Data’s client base grew by over 7% in 2023.
With well-planned campaigns by our Marketing department in conjunction with our management team collaboration and more importantly the hard work and dedication of our team members we are looking forward to 2024 being an even greater year for Share Data.

Chestnut Tree House
Share Data has chosen to add the Chestnut Tree House to the charities we support.
The Chestnut Tree House charity is based in East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire. They provide hospice care to children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. We look forward to raising money for them in 2024.
